Ingredients:
0.5 tbsp Mustard Seeds(Rai)
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds(Jeeru)
0.5 tbsp Asafoetida(Hinga)
0.5 tbsp Turmeric powder(Hardhar)
3 tbsp of Oil
2.5 tbsp Red chilli powder
1 tbsp Coriander and Cumin Powder(Dhana Jeeru Powder)
Powder of 1 long stick Cinnamon(Taj)
2 tbsp Fennel(Variyali)
1.5 cup of Mint leaves(Pudina)
1 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste(Adu and Lasana)
2-3 medium to large chopped tomatoes and onions
1.5 cup rice
Required amount of water and salt

Steps for Procedure:
1.Put the oil in a pressure cooker and Heat it in a low flame.
2.Then add Mustard Seeds(Rai), Cumin Seeds(Jeeru), Asafoetida(Hinga) and Turmeric powder(Hardhar), heat it until it Crackles.
3.Add chopped tomatoes and onions to it.
4.After the tomatoes and onions gets cooked, add Powder Cinnamon(Taj) and Fennel(Variyali).
5.After few seconds, when it smells good add paste of garlic and ginger, Mint leaves(Pudina).
6.Then add Red chilli powder, Coriander and Cumin Powder(Dhana Jeeru Powder) and required amount of salt.
7.At last add rice and required amount of water.
8.Let the rice get cooked for 3-4 whistle.
9.Serve hot TOMATO RICE with RAITA

Note:
If u required more color u can add red color to it after adding rice.
RAITA
Ingredients:
4-5 tbsp Yougurt(Dahi)
1 small to medium chopped onion
0.5 tbsp salt
1 small glass of butter milk(Chas)

Steps for procedure:
1.Add chopped onions to yougurt.
2.Then, add salt and mix well.
3.Add butter milk according to your required consistency.
(I prefer thin consistency)
