Ingredients:
5 slice bread white/brown
1 tbsp cumin seeds(Jeeru)
2 tsp butter(Makhan)
2 clove garlic finely chopped(Lassan)
1 green chilli slit(Lavingdi Marchi)
2 tbsp spring onion finely chopped(Lilli Dhungri)
1 onion finely chopped(Dhungri)
1 carrot finely chopped(Gaajar)
2 tbsp cabbage finely chopped(Kobij)
2 tbsp capsicum finely chopped
2 tomato finely chopped
1 tsp pav bhaji masala
2 tbsp tomato sauce
Salt as per your taste
Steps for Procedure:
1.Firstly, cut 5 slices of bread into square pieces. You can also, toast the bread and cut into pieces for more crispy bread masala recipe.
2.In a large kadai heat 2 tsp butter and add cumin seeds(Jeeru), garlic(Lassan) and chilli(Lavingdi Marchi).
3.After few seconds, further add carrot, cabbage, capsicum, onion, spring onion and salt.
4.Saute until the vegetables are cooked yet retain their shape.
5.Additionally, add tomato and saute until it turns soft and mushy.
6.Now add pav bhaji masala and salt. saute well.
7.Furthermore, add tomato sauce and mix well. Adding tomato sauce makes the masala tastier.
8.Now add bread pieces and mix gently.
9.Finally, add coriander leaves and serve bread masala with hot chai.
Note:
1.Firstly, if you are planning to pack bread masala for lunch box, toast the bread and make pieces. else the bread will turn soggy.
2.Also, add vegetables of your choice to make it more nutritious.
3.Additionally, if you do not have pav bhaji masala then replace with chilli powder and garam masala powder.
4.Finally, bread masala recipe tastes great when prepared spicy.
