Ingredients:
1kg boiled mashed potatoes
5 cups of bread crumps(Bread no bhuko)
2.5 tbsp Red chilli powder(Marchu)
1 tbsp Coriander and Cumin Powder(Dhana Jeeru Powder)
0.5 tbsp of garlic paste(Lasana)
2 medium to large chopped onions
5 tbsp of chilli flakes
5 tbsp of all purpose flour(Maida)
1 tbsp of chaat masala
4 tbsp of coriander leaves(kothamir)
2 tbsp Fennel(Variyali)
1 tbsp of lemon juice
oil for deep fry
salt and water as per requirement
Required amount of water and salt
Steps for Procedure:
1.Put a mashed potatoes, bread crumps(Bread no bhuko), Red chilli powder(Marchu), Coriander and Cumin Powder(Dhana Jeeru Powder), garlic paste(Lasana), chopped onions, 3tbsp chilli flakes, coriander leaves(kothamir), chaat masala, Fennel(Variyali), lemon juice and salt.
2.Mix all well. Prepare a dough.
3.Take a 1tbsp of oil and rub your hands with oil.
4.With the help of prepared dough, prepare equal small sized balls.
5.Prepare a mixer of all purpose flour(Maida) and water.
6.Note that the mixer should not be too thinner.
7.Deep the balls in the about prepared mixer.
8.Prepare another mixer of bread crumps(Bread no bhuko) and chilli flakes.
9.Rub the balls in the mixer prepared in Step8 after completing Step7.
10.Deep fry the balls in the oil.
Serve the hot Potato lollipops with the (mix of curd, onion, coriander leaves and salt) or tomatoe ketchup.
Note:
1.Deep fry the balls in the medium flame.
2.The maida and water mixer should not be too thin.
3.If required add 1tbsp of corn flour for the bindind of potatoes.
