Ingredients:
1 kg of rice
250g of Split Chickpea(channa dal)
100g of Split Mung bean or green gram(mag dal)
100g of Split Pigeon pea or Red gram (Tuver dal)
100g of Black gram(Adadha dal)
0.5 tbsp of baking soda
1 small cup of garlic
2-3 tbsp of green garlic(optional)
2 medium chopped green chillis(optional)
2-3 tbsp of Red chilli powder
1 tbsp of cumin and coriander powder
1 cup of coriander leaves
salt
Requried amount of Butter Milk
Steps for Procedure:
1.Soak the all dals and rice in a butter milk for 3 hours.
2.Grind it in a mixture, and keep it aside for 7-8 hours until it gets fregmented.
3.Prepare a paste of garlic, red chilli powder and cumin and coriander powder.
4.Add paste, salt, baking soda and coriandar leaves in a mixture prepared in step2 and mix it well.
5.Greace the plate with oil and drop the batter in a plate.
6.Cook it in a stream as we cook idli.
Serve the hot Dhokla with chutney or oil and salt.
Note:
1.You can also sprinkle coriander leaves after dropping the batter in a plate.
2.Use red chilli powder as per required spicy.
3.You can also use tumeric powder(Optional)
